A few months ago, HC Tatran Persov won Czechoslovakian Cup. HC Tatran Persov has been the best Handball team of Slovakia over the course of many years.
Persov won not only the Czechoslovakian Cup, but also the Slovakian Cup, which was first played after Slovanian independence in 1991.HC Tatran Persov is called as 22th cup title team of Slavko Goluza, who is a player of the Croatia national handball team and now head coach of Slovakian Tatran Presov. Slavko Goluza is known for his achievements in World Championship (gold in 2003, silver in 1995 and 2005) and European Championship (bronze in 1994).With his couching, HC Tatran Persov won the final match, which include two parts, against Povaszka Bistrica in an easy way. Speaking of which, MŠK Považská Bystrica is also a successful Handball team of Slovakia. Povazska Bystrica won the Slovak Championship twice and also played in Championship League.
In the first match HC Tatran Persov defeated Povazska Bystrica with a really huge gap as 34:24.
